Shipping & Delivery Policy

At BMS Ltd, we aim to deliver your electrical, plumbing, sanitary, and renewable energy products safely and efficiently. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines our delivery options, timeframes, and responsibilities.


Delivery Options

We currently offer the following delivery and collection options:

In‑Store Collection

  • Available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9:00 – 18:00

  • Collection from our premises in Qormi, Malta

  • You will be notified once your order is ready for collection


Standard Delivery – Malta & Gozo

  • Orders under €50

    • Malta: €5 delivery charge

    • Gozo: €5 delivery charge

  • Orders over €50

    • Free delivery to Malta and Gozo

All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.


Delivery Times

  • Deliveries are carried out Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 16:00 and 18:00

  • A member of our team or the delivery driver will contact you to arrange a delivery date and time

  • Orders are usually available for delivery within the next 3 working days, subject to appointment availability

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next working day.


Delivery Process

  • Deliveries within Malta are handled by BMS Ltd’s own drivers or third-party couriers

  • Deliveries to Gozo are handled by reputable third‑party couriers

Once goods are handed over to a courier, responsibility for delivery timelines transfers to the courier. While we work only with reliable partners, we cannot be held responsible for courier delays beyond our control.


Receiving Your Order

When your order arrives:

  • Please ensure someone is present to receive, inspect, and sign for the delivery

  • We recommend a visual inspection of the items upon arrival

  • You are not required to open and check every item before signing

⚠️ Important: Do not install any items that appear damaged.


Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items

If your order is damaged, incomplete, or incorrect:

  • You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Contact us by email or telephone quoting your invoice or order number

  • Please include photographs where applicable

If reported within the stated timeframe, BMS Ltd will arrange replacement at no additional cost where applicable.


Responsibility & Risk

  • Responsibility for goods passes to the purchaser once items are signed for or collected

  • BMS Ltd is not responsible for goods received or unpacked by third parties not authorised by the purchaser

  • Please do not store items for later inspection, as late claims may not be accepted


Failed Deliveries

If delivery is attempted on an agreed date and:

  • No one is available to receive the order, or

  • Incorrect delivery information was provided

BMS Ltd reserves the right to charge for any additional delivery attempts.


Delivery Instructions

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept special delivery instructions such as leaving goods with neighbours or in unsecured locations.


Errors During Checkout

Please ensure all delivery details are correct before completing your order. BMS Ltd cannot be held responsible for delays, losses, or additional costs resulting from incorrect information provided at checkout.
